Week 10, Blog 2: Brainstorm of Tension with IRW
I would be fired on the spot, I'm guessing. Ideologically, I disagree with the entire system. I'm not sure how accurate this description is, but what I fundamentally would love to do is shift the entire academic system down one level minimum, at every level. There is absolutely no sane reason these learning objectives should be applicable to adults. In my idealized learning system, the basic undergraduate learning structure should be the lessons and ideas taught in graduate school- unique idea generation, exploratory assignments, and an absolutely massive load of low-risk reading and writing.
